The countess is a primarily fire based enemy, she is accompanied by two shadow summons, both of which are immune to all forms of damage. The number of shadows accompanying her increases in higher difficulties.

Strategy to defeat is to ignore the shadows and focus on the Countess as their lives are linked to hers. Fire resistance will be critical in a battle this early in the game.
